Recently, the new issue of the Polish M.I. magazine “Triumf Niepokalanej” (“The Triumph of the Immaculate”) was brought out.
In the preface, the Polish coordinator of M.I., Fr. Krzysztof Gołębiewski, introduced the central theme of the issue, i.e. the apparitions of Our Lady in Lourdes. A comprehensive article follows, which describes the history of the Lourdes apparitions step by step.
The magazine carries translations of traditional Catholic texts: in this issue, the reader can get to know what St. Gregory I wrote about the Archangel Gabriel, and explore the homily for the Annunciation by St. Andrew of Crete. The figure of St. Joseph is the focus of another text, presenting a number of saints inspired by his example and specially devoted to him.
The topic of the sorrows of Mary is discussed in the text by Father Frederick William Faber (in the Polish translation) and the next contribution explains the history of the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows.
As part of the series on Marian sanctuaries, Our Lady of Chełmno (Poland) is introduced. The issue concludes with a text on the spiritual relationship between St Louis of Montfort and St Maximilian Kolbe, written by Director of the M.I., Father Karl Stehlin.
