Pachamama instead of Maria? — A call to expiation

Dear Knights of the Immaculata!

Following the Amazon Synod, the Superior General of the Priestly Society of St. Pius X called for prayer and expiation: “The recent Synod on Amazonia was the scene of abhorrent events in which the horror of idolatrous rites penetrated the sanctuary of God in an unprecedented and unthinkable way”.

Figures of a naked pregnant woman accompanied the Synod: in a church in Rome dedicated to Our Lady they were put in front of the Blessed Sacrament and venerated several times. These statues represent Pachamama, an indigenous deity. These blasphemies were also denunciated bishop Athanasius Schneider in his open letter to Catholics on the Amazonian Synod.

In addition to these sins against the first commandment there is a special abomination in these acts, namely an insult to our Mother and Queen. Pachamama was worshipped by the Incas as the Mother of the sun-god and is thus quasi an indigenous pagan “mother of God”. One can therefore say that during the synod she was used as a kind of substitute for Our Lady. Instead of choosing and adoring Mary as the patron saint of this Synod — especially Our Lady of Guadalupe, who is responsible for the conversion of Latin America — Pachamama was chosen and thus an idol was honoured. The fact that the various rituals performed are idolatrous is clearly and undeniably demonstrated by the following event: In a parish in Verona a priest had a prayer read to Pachamama during a prayer vigil for the missions. The prayer was: “Pachamama, good mother, have mercy on us! Be gracious to us! It turned out that this prayer was published by the Pontifical Missionary Office “Missio” of Italy.

During the Synod it was heard that they wanted to give the Church a “feminine and a maternal face” — but without our Heavenly Mother. She had already been denigrated at the Second Vatican Council. At that time the dogma of Mary as Mediatrix of all graces was sacrificed to the golden calf of ecumenism and generally her role was diminished as much as possible by renouncing the originally planned decree about her. The Blessed Virgin was no longer in the midst of the Council to enlighten the fathers and ask her Son for his assistance: “They have no more wine”. Thus the prelates of Rome – left on their own — became susceptible to the seductions of the adversary. The apostasy that Our Lady so urgently warned against in La Salette and Fatima, is now followed by idolatry.

The Militia Immaculatae is called in a special way to defend the honour of our Mother and Lady, after all the greeting call of the knights is “honour to the Immaculata” and it is a knightly duty to defend the Queen. That is why we want to join the call of Father Pagliarani and in particular make atonement for the insults against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

How can we do that?

1. First, I invite you to observe very specially the upcoming First Saturday and to offer it as act of Atonement in this intention. It will be on the 7th of December, the vigil of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, the patron saint’s day of our M.I. These days of reparation desired by Jesus and Mary have never before been so accurate and important as they are today. Let us practise this devotion with new zeal: Let us offer Holy Communion, let us go to Holy Confession every month, let us pray the Holy Rosary, let us contemplate for 15 minutes a mystery of the Rosary at Mary’s side — and let us offer all this in the spirit of sacrifice and reparation for the sins committed against Mary’s Immaculate Heart to comfort Mary.

2. The prayer of the Angel of Fatima is more important than ever:

“O my God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love Thee! I ask pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope and do not love Thee”.

Let us pray it often in this spirit and remember what the angel said to the three little shepherds:

“Make a sacrifice out of everything you can and offer it to God for atonement for the sins by which he is offended and for the conversion of sinners… First of all, accept and bear with submission the sufferings which the Lord will send you”.

3. The Rosary:

“Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers and authorities, the dark rulers of the world and the evil spirits” (Eph 6:12). The Rosary is THE remedy against this diabolical confusion of our days. St. John Bosco saw in 1862 on the Vigil of the Feast of the Assumption in one of his dreams how the devil met him in the form of a huge, fearsome snake and could only be defeated by the Hail Mary or the Rosary. Let us therefore remain faithful to the Rosary and pray it precisely for the atonement for these abominations at the Holy Place, for the conversion of Rome and especially for the Pope.

Furthermore, I cordially invite all the Knights of the Immaculata to renew their consecration to the Immaculate Conception on the 8th of December! In these times of danger, we want to reaffirm that we are fully committed to Mary, the Mediatrix of all graces and the crusher of Satan’s head, and that we are fighting for her under her protective mantle as her instruments. In order to deepen and revive our zeal, I recommend that you prepare for this solemnity through the 13 days of preparation with the booklet “Consecration to the Immaculate Conception”. We will begin on the 26th of November, the day before the Feast of the Miraculous Medal.

Through these acts carried out in the M.I., we hope to honour Our Lady, to comfort her Immaculate Heart and to appease the just wrath of her Son, who cannot bear that his Mother should be insulted.

Honour of the Immaculata!

With my priestly blessing
