MI APOSTOLATE by Militia Immaculatæ
The apostolate of the Militia of the Immaculata has Saint Maximilian Kolbe as patron and spiritual protector. He is a shining example for us because of his zeal for the salvation of souls and the extension of the kingdom of Jesus Christ through the Immaculata. His zeal knew no bounds. More and better than anyone, he worked for the Immaculata.
No sooner had he founded the City of the Immaculate in Poland than he asked his superiors for permission to go to Japan as a missionary. In their astonishment, his colleagues questioned him: “Can you speak Japanese? Do you have relationship or money for this project? He must answer all these questions in the negative. But the superiors already knew him, and they let him go.
His unlimited trust in “his Lady” has never disappointed him. According to his motto, he will give everything to the Immaculata, absolutely everything. And in his boundless confidence, he asked her “to accomplish all that she cannot do.”
