We priests of the MI cordially invite you all to practice together the devotion of the five Saturdays of reparation from February to June. Those who have never done this should have genuine concern as a Knight of the Immaculata to fulfill the will of Our Lady of Fatima through this exercise. Anyone who has only done it once or more must be convinced that repeating this beautiful exercise would certainly do him no harm, if only because of the precious fruits that can be given to us.
What fruits can we draw from this work of reparation?
The promise that applies personally to anyone who faithfully practices this devotion: obtaining the graces necessary to die in state of grace. So nothing less than eternal life!
The appeasement of the justice of God, which should severely punish people for all their transgressions, by an act of expiation of sins against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
We can also earn by deeds performed a full or at least partial indulgence to blot out our sins or those of others as well as those of the poor souls in purgatory.
We can avoid or lessen the chastisements that threaten our nations because of public sins, because a group act of atonement has far more power over God than a single personal act.
Moreover, God will certainly hear with joy this common request for the salvation of many souls as he sees it arise from the hearts of many knights. Finally, Our Lady of Fatima said that many souls are lost because there is no one to pray for them, so through these prayers we can save all souls from eternal damnation.
We are happy to recommend the new Repair Saturday booklet to help you practice these five Saturdays well.
