On Sunday (October 23) in Shanghai (China), Father Karl Stehlin accepted for the Militia Immaculatae 7 new Knights.
China, Our lady used to have lots of holy and brave instruments in this nation. However, while God’s grace is working over the souls, the devil is also devouring millions, and doing everything he could to hinder the salvation of souls. For thousands of years, the devil had won so many times, souls who are enslaved by him would only care for this material world but nothing else.
But God’s mercy did not forsaken this land, so many great saints wills it so much to bring light and truth to this land. Though St. Francis Xavier did not actually entered China, but by his merit, his successors had managed to enter and had once so deeply influenced this nation; Inspired by this great saint, St. Maximillian too, wished to continue this work. Though he can’t personally established his work in China, after so many years, M.I. was eventually embracing the first group of Chinese Knights in June 2015.
Though they are few in numbers, scattered in different places, M.I. gave the knights perfect ideal and means to unite together spiritually, and using all the modern approach to be the instrument of our Lady. Those who are good at language, translated hundreds of M.I. messages on the website; Those who are good at handicraft works, made hundreds of wooden rosaries; Those who can design, made beautiful leaflets of M.I.; Those who have access to the old books, saved traditional prayer books from being burned, then input texts into computer; Those who are good at technology, setup a feeding channel of traditional faith on the mobile network, so that people may easily get daily Missal and access to Gregorian Chant recordings.
All the works, if without our Lady, without our Lord, are fruitless. “Without me, you can do nothing.” It’s so true, if you’re living in such a godless environment. There is utterly nowhere else like this place, spiritually wasted, but at the same time, for those who ask, graces are pouring over them. Every time the priest visits, the knights made great efforts to come to confess, to come to Mass, some need to travel even hundreds of kilometers. In their eyes, sacraments are so precious, it worth waiting and expecting for. Obeying our Lady’s commands, the knights pray and make daily sacrifices, they participate in both M.I. prayer crusade and the rosary crusade.
In end times, while all the shinny bubbles are slowly falling apart, the work of our lady’s little army is like a glittering light. Amongst all the despairs and false salvation, there is true hope, the only way to save this nation from unjust, impure and slavery. This is the will of the Immaculata, the very same will of God, this salvation be brought forth through instruments: Militia Immaculatae.
