• February 24th, Dominican sisters of Cours Saint Albert the great (in Nantes) are interested to received the material of the MI : they ordered 10 apostolic sets and new booklets and flyers were given to them for their students.

• On 6 January, a new leaflet was published entitled “The Virgin Mary in the heart of personal, family and social life”. This leaflet presents the three Marian organizations, namely The Confraternity of Mary Queen of Hearts – The Militia Immaculatae – The Militia Mariae, as well as their differences and the links that unite them. YEAR 2022

• December 8th, Twin procession in honour of the Immaculate Conception in Nantes! For this unique day, knights and legionnaires went around the Procession to explain the event and give the Medal of the Immaculate Conception. To see the short video ^[22]

• October 24th, opening of Mary’s workshop. New little shop of the MI! Pious images in lace, handmade works, books, homemade rosaries… Can be send only to Europeen Countries! Enjoy your discovery! ^[23]

• On October 13th, a small distribution centre was opened for all French countries… From Poland, 1.5 tons of our French publications were sent, which we were able to organise and store in the garage that a generous knight put at our disposal! It is from this new centre that we will send our french paper publications. • On May 22nd, in Nantes (Placelière), on the occasion of the Priory Kermesse, on May 22, 2022, Le Prieur, MR L’Abbé France, invited the MI in order to present the rosaries made by the Knights To finance paper publications (books, leaflets …)
• On January 28th, at the request of the Dominicans sisters, the International Center get in touch and ensures the follow-up of the “former students” enrolled in the MI

YEAR 2021

• October 23 : 25 packages of more than 20 kg each were sent to the M.I corners in France. Theses packages contained the last “special” number of the “chevalier de l’Immaculée” (30-50 copies), 100 flyers on the Miraculous Medal, 100 flyers on the brown Scapular and 50 flyers on different topics, small cards contact and other apostolic tools…Nantes has more than 200 Knights get their material for apostolat. A new M.I corner is on the way being made.The religious sisters, Dominicans from Brignoles have welcome in their schools located in the east of France, the international director of the M.I., Reverend Fr. Stehlin. Young ladies and teenagers really appreciate the conferences and will be volunteers to enrol in the M.I. on December 8th, to become an instrument in Mary’s hands.After this event, the International Center of the M.I is preparing a new booklet of consecration according to St Maximilian Maria Kolbe for the youth (18-25 yo). An other booklet being already prepared for the children between 8-14 yo.

• The MI at the Christmas market in Nantes:
  Foods proliferate on the tables at the Christmas market at La Placelière, but as one participant notes: “It’s still good that there are books and rosaries from the MI.!” It is not only the rosaries that have attracted customers, but the small decade that this little boy will choose to pay with his pocket money. Books and pamphlets are also popular as apostolic gifts.Mutual aid in the M.I.
  One of the knights has a farm a two-hour drive from my parish, says a lady, also a knight of the MI. I will be ordering for Christmas Eve from him because in these difficult times, we must support each other more than ever. Thus, in exchange for food, a little drop of Charity will be added to the payment. But that is not all ! The knight who has a farm wishes for MI rosaries, and Madame will gladly provide them.
• On December 10th, 2021, on the feast of Our Lady of Loreto (and the anniversary of the appearance of Our Lady of Fatima to Sister Lucy, in Pontevedra), at Our Lady of France in the Dominicans school 14 students enroll.
• A parish in France in the Paris region has asked the Militia Immaculatæ, through social networks, for all the material necessary to prepare for the consecration according to Father Maximilien Kolbe. This December 8, it was a great joy in the parish! 15 new Knights consecrated themselves to Mary Immaculate. May our Queen help them and guide them ever more towards the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
• Some of the new knights discovered the Militia Immaculatae through Facebook…and yes, even the virtual world is the Kingdom of Mary! And the requests are more and more numerous; Currently more than 10 new knights have committed themselves individually in their respective parishes. After completing the 13 days of preparation, they committed where they could find a priest to receive their enrollement. We accompany them with our prayers.
• On December 7th, 2021, after the 1st Vespers of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, in Saint Pré in the Dominicans school, 9 students enrolled.

• On June 15th, 2019, Pentecost Saturday, 13 members of the community of the Séminaire Saint-Curé-d’Ars de Flavigny, ^[49]seminarians and brothers, joined the Militia of the Immaculatæ.
• On June 2nd, 2019, in Reims, he received 85 new members as Knights ^[50] of the Immaculata.
• On May 19th, 2019, in Clermont Ferrand, it received more than 100 new members ^[51]
• May 16th and 17th, 2019: For two days, Father Karl Stehlin, director of the Militia Immaculatæ, enlisted 263 new knights in France. ^[52]

YEAR 2018

• October 16th, 2017 is the date of the hundredth anniversary of the founding of the Militia of the Immaculate Conception of Father Kolbe. It was impossible to leave this event without celebrating it. On Saturday October 14, 2017, a “Centenary Day” took place in Paris. To know more… ^[54]
• April 5th, 2018: We are happy to announce the creation of another corner of M.I. in France. ^[55] It was made in the chapel of Notre-Dame du Sacré-Coeur at the Moulin du Pin (53).
• From February 2nd to 4th, Presence in France and conferences of Father Stehlin, International Director of the M.I., at the Priory of Saint-Vincent-de-Paul in Bailly (78)

YEAR 2017

The Militia Immaculatæ (of Traditional Observance) was introduced to France by the Capuchin Fathers of Morgon in 2002. Over 14 years, they recruited around 3,000 Knights, mostly from members of the Third Order of St. Francis. They also publish 3 times a year a small booklet called “Knight of the Immaculate”. This is the only connection they have with the Knights. Because of their immense apostolate, the lack of manpower but also because they do not have access to modern means of communication (telephone, fax, Internet, etc.), their apostolic field was very limited, and most of the faithful in France did not even know of the existence of the M.I. For this reason, the Superior General decided to transfer the leadership of the MI in France to the SSPX.
The District Superior appointed Father Guy Castelain as national moderator and decided that the M.I. would be introduced little by little in all the priories, all the schools and chapels. He also invited the Director of the M.I., Father Stehlin, to help with his debut.

Thus he was asked to visit the priory of Nantes, from September 29 to October 1, 2017. He first presented the fundamentals of the M.I. to the priests of the priory. All of the lectures and sermons during his stay were devoted to informing the faithful about the army of Father Maximilian Kolbe. On Sunday October 1, the day of the Solemnity of Our Lady of the Rosary, 242 faithful were recruited as Knights, and among them the moderator himself, the head of the priory and another priest.
