Knights honoured the relics of St. Anthony of Padua

On the 6th of March Knights from Chennai (India), visited St. Sebastain’s Church in Madhavaram to venerate the relics of St. Anthony of Padua, a piece of his flesh and rib bone was brought from Padua for public veneration.

image002It should be noted that we were the only external group that was allowed to lead the prayers for an hour, no other parish or group was allowed. We sang hymns, recited the Rosary and chanted the Litany of St. Anthony and Our Blessed Mother, all in Latin. Many who had come to venerate sat through the entire hour of prayer.

It was only fitting then that we honoured the Hammer of Heretics with Tradition.

A special word of thanks to Mr. John Bosco who organised this for us.
