The Director of the Militia Immaculatæ, Father Karl Stehlin, visited a few countries in South America, where he preached conferences on the Militia Immaculatæ and the Spirituality of Saint Maximilian Maria Kolbe, founder of the M.I.

Father Stehlin established the Militia Immaculatæ in Chile, Peru and Uruguay and enrolled 270 new Knights into the Militia Immaculatæ. The demographics of the new Knights of the Immaculata have been broken down as follows:

– 94 Knights in Santiago de Chile,

– 20 Knights in Vina del Maria (Chile),

– 9 in Uruguay,

– 40 in Lima (Peru),

– 80 in Medellin (Columbia),

– 27 Knights in Bogota (Colombia).
