The concrete results of this first 70 km are 85 new Knights of the Immaculata — from Mary’s Children’s Mission in Marbel, 20 new knights; from Mary’s Mission for adults in Marbel, 10 new knights; from Tupi’s evening Mary’s Mission, 20 new Knights, and from Mary’s evening Mission in Polomolok, 35 new Knights.
On November 3, 2016, 70 km of the Pilgrimage was covered in 3 days. The Pilgrim Virgin was at rest in FVR village, suburb of General Santos City. That evening a Mary’s Mission was preached at our catechism center. Along the way, some miraculous medals and about 500 scapulars were distributed even to the Military and Police outposts. The Army was presently contacting us in an official capacity to see how they can help. The phone call of the Army Chaplain Fr. Dizon was directed to Fr. Ghela, over-all chairman of our pilgrimage.
About 2,400 colored flyers and 1700 MI Primer catechisms, some in English and some in Cebuano have been distributed by Catechists who endeavor to speak to interested people, explaining Mary’s Mission, and offering a flyer and a sacramental to those interested. If a Priest is available, the Priest is called to impose the Scapular. In this way, even bystanders experienced the loving care of their heavenly Mother for them.
Thus far, there has been 1 Mary’s Mission for children, 1 for adults, and 3 evening Missions. Then, 2 more day missions and 1 more evening Mission for the weekend of November 5 and 6.
