Ave Maria!
This special event was the first time since the Atelier de Marie was set up in France, which is none other than the National Centre of M.I. France. The national day took place in Paris in the splendid church of Notre-Dame de la Consolation, where Reverend Father Celier welcomed us with a great sense of humour and charity on the afternoon of 30th April.
Three Knights, with the help of our National Moderator, set up a stand well supplied with apostolic tools made by the Knights of the Immaculata. More than 10 different kinds of items were available: books, the 7 new leaflets, the new miraculous medals (gold and silver) in two different sizes, around a hundred hand-made stone and metal rosaries (very long-lasting), decades, bracelet decades, small crowns (special praise to the Immaculata) of St Louis-Marie de Montfort, medals with stainless steel chains, kits with a fabric wallet, medals and cards on the medal ready to be used, kits for the flyers’ apostolate or on the miraculous medal (plastic wallets), kits for preparation for Consecration, and kits for the new action “Pass it on to your neighbour”. There was also an impressive quantity of canivets (pious images with lace) and May cards in colours so bright and cheerful that they caught the eye of everyone present.. Finally, most of the knights left proudly wearing their handmade M.I. pins! Some even had 2 or 3 on their jackets!
There were about fifty Knights and 8 people joined the MI and became Knights of the Immaculata on the feast of Saint Joseph and the opening of the month of Mary;
Here are the recorded conferences of the various speakers and at the bottom of this article, you will find some pictures of the day. See you next year!
