From the 24th of May to the 27th of May Father Karl Stehlin, the Director of the M.I. visited Poland, country of St. Maximilian. He attended to Gathering of the M.I. and he enrolled 42 new Knights.
First he visited Immaculate Heart of Our Lady Church in Gdynia. Having left Gdynia, Father Karl Stehlin came to Chorzów and Katowice on the 25th of May to meet the faithful from the south of Poland. Despite his flight being cancelled, he arrived in Chorzów just in time to celebrate Mass, which was undoubtedly due to Immaculata’s help.
After Mass he accepted about 14 new Knights of the Immaculata. In the conference preached in Katowice Father Stehlin noticed similarity between the ideas of the Militia Immaculatae found in Rome and the message of Our Lady given in Fatima the same year.
The next day Father Stehlin continued his visit in Poland by coming to Warsaw. He arrived for III Gathering of the Militia Immaculatae Traditional Observance. In Warsaw Father stayed for two days. Therefore, the faithful present were lucky to listen to the series of Father Stehlin’s conferences.
On Saturday the 26th of May Father developed the topic of the convergence of the secrets of Fatima and the essence of M.I. On Sunday the 27th of May even more people (about 600) came to Immaculate Conception Church. In the last sermons they were warned against being concentrated on themselves and the world around which may make all efforts of their apostolate ineffective.
Between the lectures, Father Stehlin devoted almost every minute to talk to the faithful, who often asked for his blessing and signing the third volume of his „Fatima. A Spiritual Guide for Our Times”, newly-published in Poland. At the end of his visit, Father enrolled into the Militia Immaculatae 28 new Knights.
