DECEMBER
For the third year, the Militia of the Immaculate Conception in Peru organised the Procession in honour of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. With great joy, the Knights and postulants to the M. I., carried the image of Our Lady on their shoulders through the streets of the district of Jesús María in Lima, Peru. The procession began with a brief homage to the Blessed Virgin Mary, with those present kneeling before Her. Then, the ‘Hymn to the Immaculate Conception’ was sung as the procession began. Finally, at the end of the procession and the Holy Rosary, cheers were given to Jesus and Mary.
NOVEMBER
New consecrations to the Militia Immaculatae in Peru!
November 12, 2022, was a day of great joy for the MI in Peru: five new Knights of the Immaculata were consecrated totally to the service of Mary Immaculate.
During the ceremony, Reverend Father Albamonte, exhorted them to give themselves unreservedly and confidently to our Blessed Mother.
Six new Knights of the Immaculate for the Militia in Lima, Peru.
On Saturday, February 26, during the visit of R. P. Albamonte to the SSPX mission in Lima, six new Knights enrolled in the Militia of the Immaculate Conception of traditional observance. The ceremony of admission was held after the Holy Mass in honor of the Virgin of Lourdes. It began with the hymn Veni creator Spiritus, followed by the recitation of the Ave Maris Stella. In addition, the priest gave a brief address, encouraging the new members to pray, offer sacrifices for sinners and spread the Miraculous Medal. After the imposition of Medals and the renewal of baptismal promises, the members consecrated themselves entirely to the Most Holy Mary with the formula of Saint Maximilian. The ceremony ended with the song Oh Mary, My Mother.
May the Immaculate guide these new servants of yours, so that they are faithful to the work that the Militia of Jesus and Mary requires.
2021
For the Queen of Heaven and Earth, around 50 Knights of the Immaculate were present in our procession.
We had the renewal ceremony on October 4th, the anniversary of the founding of MI here in Lima and 20 knights were in attendance.
However, no new registrations since the start of the restrictions as the local moderator is outside of Peru.
